MDU explores collaboration with foreign varsities

Chandigarh, Apr 19 (UNI) The Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) Rohtak is exploring the possibilities of joint academic programmes and research as well as faculty and student exchange programmes with foreign varsities to have global exposure.

MDU Vice-Chancellor R S Dhankar had recently held talks with heads of various varsities of Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Singapore in this regard, a university spokesperson said.

Prof Dhankar was in Australia to attend the conference of Vice Chancellors of Association of Common wealth Universities (ACU) from April 9 to 12.

He specifically explored the possibilities of MDU's collaborative venture s with Australian varsities in sports, management science and bio-sciences.
