Markets remain closed to protest against VAT

Kolhapur, Apr 19 (UNI) All markets, including gur and sugar markets, remained closed today following a ''bandh'' being observed to protest against VAT.

There was no trading in the Sangli turmeric futures market today while turmeric spot rate remained unchanged at Rs 2350 per quintal.
