Local court grants bail to accused in kidnapping case

Nanded, Apr 19 (UNI) A local court here today granted an interim bail to the seven accused of kidnapping a minor girl.

The six accused who were granted bail includes a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Corporator Gafar Khan and a 22-year-old youth Imran Khan.

The court has, however, prohibited all the accused from entering into the limits of Nanded Municipal Corporation, till the chargesheet in the case had been filed.

The police had booked the accused Imran Khan and six others for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from here on March 20.

The police nabbed Imran from Indore in Madhya Pradesh on March 28 and managed to release the minor girl from his clutches.

The kidnapping of the minor girl from here evoked a violent reaction in the city on March 21.
