Kyrgyz invites Haryana entrepreneurs
Chandigarh, Apr 19 (UNI) The Kyrgyz Republic has invited the entrepreneurs of Haryana to set up their ventures in that country and assured them all help.
An assurance in this regard was made by Governor of Talas Region of Kyrgyz Republic Djeenbekov while addressing a meeting of prominent entrepreneurs of Haryana in Faridabad today.
Mr Djeenbekov is leading a four-member delegation including Mayor of Talas City Tursunkulov Erkin, Head of the Tax Department of Talas Rainkulev Jusup, President of Joint Stock of Food Processing company Azyk Djundubaev Kemelbek and Managing Director of a bakery factory Osmanaliev Rustam.
Mr Djeenbekov also apprised the entrepreneurs about the business potential of his country. He said the land was cheap in Kyrgyz and labour was also available at a low rate.
As the economy of the country had weakened after its separation from the Soviet Union, he said, efforts were being made to put back its economy on rails.
He was all praise for the facilities being provided at the CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar and expressed his desire to send the students of his country to this University so as to usher in a revolution in food processing industry.
The Governor said as there was ample production of potatoes and tomatoes in his country, a number of food processing industries could be set up there.
The delegation, accompanied by senior officers of Haryana Industries Department, has already visited CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, IMT, Manesar, Delhi and Agra.
Welcoming Mr Djeenbekov, Haryana Governor A R Kidwai assured all necessary technical assistance to Talas.
Haryana Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary Industries P K Chaudhary made a presentation on industrial development in the state.
The Managing Directors of Hero Honda, Honda Scooters, Action Shoes, Oriental Crafts, SPL, Atlas, Liberty and Suzuki Motor Cycles and senior officials of the Haryana Government were present on the occasion.
