Jalabhishek meetings in weekly markets
Bhopal, Apr 19: Public meetings will be organised at weekly markets in villages in Madhya Pradesh as a part of the 'Jalabhishek Abhiyan' for increasing public awareness regarding conserving water, official sources said today.
Legislators, janpad panchayat members and gram panchayat sarpanch will take part in the public meetings, to be organised up to April 25.
The meetings will be organised by Janpad Panchayat's Chief Executive Officer.
The villagers will be informed about the necessity, strategy and implementation of various aspects of the scheme besides alternatives for water conservation and preservation.
An exhibition on water conservation will also be showcased at the site of public meeting.
