Haryana not to disturb key officials without EC consent

Chandigarh, Apr 19 (UNI) The Haryana government has directed all Heads of Departments that no key officials engaged in the ongoing revision of electoral rolls disturbed without the prior concurrence of the Election Commission till the final publication of electoral rolls.

An official spokesman said such key officials included District Election Officers, the Electoral Registration Officers and the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers.

The final publication of electoral rolls was scheduled on May 31, he added.
