GNLF puts up candidates from Siliguri, Phansidewa

Siliguri, Apr 19 (UNI) The Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) has put up candidates in Siliguri and Phansidewa constituencies for the final phase West Bengal Assembly election on May 8.

Mr Keshab Lama filed his nomination papers yesterday from Siliguri constituency, while Mr Eswaria Dangaria filed his nomination papers from Phansidewa constituency today.

Meanwhile, the Congress expressed concern about participation of the GNLF in state Assembly elections.

Congress leader Dawa Narabula told UNI that in the last Parliamentary election the GNLF posed a serious problem to their candidates.
