Fam calls off indefinitly strike

Mumbai, Apr 19 (UNI) Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) has called off the indefinite strike by wholesale traders.

FAM President Mohan Gurnani said that the Maharashtra Finance Minister has announced in Assembly that VAT an essential commodities has been exempted and status quo as March 31,2006 has been maitanined.
