Duggal discusses law and order situation in J-K with Azad
Jammu, Apr 18 (UNI) Union Home Secretary V K Duggal called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad here today and discussed the law and order situation in the state as well as rehabilitation programme for earthquake-affected people.
Mr Duggal, during the meeting, reviewed the reconstruction programme, presently in progress in Uri, Tangdhar, Poonch and other earthquake-affected areas of the state.
Mr Azad said it was as a result of coordinated efforts of the state and Central governments for rehabilitation worktaken up by the state government were appreciated the world over.
Among those present on the occasion were Chief Secretary Vijay Bkaya, Financial Commissioner Home S B Mathur, Principal Secretary Revenue S V Bhave, Director General of Police Gopal Sharma, Additional Director General CID Kuldeep Khuda and other senior officers of police and security forces.
