Day temperatures fall in AP, Assam, Manipur, WB, Orissa, UP, TM

Pune, Apr 19 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Telangana, interior Karnataka, in some parts of Haryana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and of Tamil Nadu.

It was below normal in east Rajasthan and in some parts of Punjab, Gujarat and north Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of Haryana.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at a few places in West Bengal, Sikkim, and at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, south Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal and north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Kerala and at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
