CPI warns of reconsidering Smart City pact

Thrissur, Apr 19(UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary Veliyam Barghavan warned the UDF Government against signing the Smart City agreement saying the LDF would reconsider the terms and conditions when it was voted back to power in Kerala.

Addressing a face-to-face programme organised by the Press Club here today, the CPI leader claimed the UDF was now working with the BJP on 'voting.' He alleged the National Development Front workers were behind the murder of Chavakkad Nnicipal Chairman K P Valsalan and said the Muslim League was now friendly with the NDF under the leadership of P K Kunjalikutty.
