Chennai, Apr 19 (UNI) Chemin Coatings Private Limited, Chennai is entering into an agreement with its Indian associate, the US-based Nukote Coating Systems (NCS), to introduce Nukote Polyurea, a new breed of polymer coating solution in the Indian market.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Michael Osborne, Managing Director and CEO, Nukote Coating Systems International (NCSI), said the company would provide complete training and support to Chemin technicians and assist them in project management.
The company specialised in providing solutions to clients engaged in the areas of Airport, Railway infrastructure, commercial construction, petrochemicals, power generation and waste water plants. It was planning to set up a facility in Africa, basically to meet market needs in the Europe, he added.
Mr Sathish Kumar Perumal, Managing Director, Chemin Coatings, said the company would establish a joint venture manufacturing facility in a tie-up with Larsen and Toubro involving investment of Rs 35 crore.
He said the company would decide on the location of the proposed plant by the end of this year and commence production in June or November next year. The proposed Indian facility would cater to both domestic and international markets, Mr Perumal said.
The company was also introducing 'Advanced Progressive Polymer Coatings', a unique product, which would meet the needs of contractors, manufacturers and engineers.
