Antique idols worth Rs 80 lakh stolen from Mahoba
Mahoba, Apr 19 (UNI) Two antique idols valued at Rs 80 lakh have been stolen from a temple in this district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police here said that the priest of the Ram Janaki temple in Bhoora village reported today that the Asthadhatu idols of Lord Krishna and Radha valued at Rs 80 lakh were stolen from the temple last night.
The idols weighing eight kg, were installed 300 years ago in the village edging Madhya Pradesh, police added.
