Anand Cong workers to oppose Modi's ''Yatra'' if demands not met
Anand, Gujarat, Apr 19 (UNI) Local Congress workers here today submitted a memorandum to district collector D G Zalavadia saying they will oppose Chief Minister Narendra Modi's proposed ''Krushi Rath Yatra'' if the district's water and power problems are not resolved.
The Congress workers have demanded a specific assurance on their demands by April 29.
Earlier, the Congress workers, led by local MLAs Amit Chavda and Rajendrasinh Parmar, organised a rally before submitting the memorandum.
Mr Modi's ''Krushi Rath'' is slated to tour six districts of Ahmedabad, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara, Godhra and Dahod in Central Gujarat.
