ACP Pujari's alleged criminal links to be probed: Patil

Mumbai, Apr 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil today said an inquiry into the alleged links of Assistant Commissioner of Police Sudharkar Pujari with criminals will be held in a fortnight and action would be taken against him, if found guilty.

Replying to a calling attention notice given by Mr Nitin Gadkari (BJP) in the State Legislative Council, Mr Patil said three reports about Mr Pujari, which were submitted to the Home department, would be thoroughly checked.

He said the ACP is now investigating the MPSC scam pending in court, in which so far 29 people have been arrested.

Earlier, Mr Gadkari had alleged that Mr Pujari was victimising some senior administrative officers and that he had even threatened a public prosecutor.
