805 candidates file papers

Chennai, Apr 19 (UNI) A total number of 805 candidates filed their nomination papers on the fifth day today for the May eight Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

A total of 2,164 candidates have filed nomination papers so far, state Chief Electoral Officer Naresh Gupta said in a release here.

Nominations, which began on April 13, closes on April 20.
