30 kg of ganja seized; 1 arrested

Bangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) The Karnataka Railway police arrested a man hailing from Andhra Pradesh and seized 30 kg of ganja, worth Rs 1.5 lakh, from him at the Cantonment Railway station here today.

Police sources said the arrested, Shankar, hailing from Yamalur village in Warangal district, along with another person, came to the city by the Bangalore-Hyderabad Kachiguda express. The duo were supposed to deliver the ganja at a place located on Mysore road.

Police were on the look out for Shankar's accomplice who fled the scene on seeing them, the sources added.
