Three members of a family killed, one injured in road accident

Kochi, Apr 18 (UNI) Three members of a family were burnt to death and their 11-year-old boy seriously injured when their car collided with another car and burst into flames at Kannadikkad near Vytilla here today.

The deceased were identified as Edwin Jose (45), a city based businessman, his wife Violet (40) and their daughter Hilna (20), police said.

Their seiously injured 11-year-old son was admitted to a hospital here.

The family was returning from Goa when their Toyota Innova rammed into an Ambassador coming in the opposite direction when the mishap occurred.

A passenger in the other car was also injured, police added.
