Bangladesh call up batsman Imran for one-dayers
CHITTAGONG, Apr 18 (Reuters) Bangladesh have called up middle-order batsman Tushar Imran to face Australia in a three-match one-day international series this month.
''Imran will replace spinner Manjural Islam in a 14-man squad that completed a whitewash (4-0) against Kenya last month,'' a spokesman for the Bangladesh Cricket Board said.
Imran has played 33 one-dayers and scored 523 runs with an average of 16.34. He last played against Sri Lanka in Colombo last year.
The first one-dayer will be played on April 23 in Chittagong.
