AP Congress MPs getting raw deal in key portfolios: Rao

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 18 (UNI) A senior Congress leader and Guntur MP R Sambasiva Rao today alleged Congress MPs from Andhra Pradesh are unable to serve their State as the key portfolios in the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) Government at Centre are held by non-Congress parties.

In an interview to a local private channel here, he alleged pivotal portfolios such as Railways, Information Technology (IT), Civil Aviation, Shipping, Transport and Steel and Fertilisers are handled by non-Congress partners the UPA Coalition Government. He claimed as a Conagress MP , he ensured that a separate Guntur Railway Division was sanctioned to Guntur, when the Congress was not in power.
