Adil Shah Palace handed over to Goa Art and Culture Dept

Panaji, Apr 18 (UNI) The Adil Shah Palace, which houses the old secretariat building located in the heart of the city, hes been handed over to the Department of Art and Culture.

The keys of the historical palace was handed over to State Art and Culture Minister Digambar Kamat yesterday. The building was earlier under the the control of General Administration of the State Government.

The Government proposes to develop the old secretariat building into a museum to project Goa's rich folk art and culture.

A six-member committee has been instituted to work out plans for the pourpose.
