Tata Agrico ties up with Godrej Agrovet Limited

Kolkata, Apr 17 (UNI) Tata Agrico, the agri implement division of Tata Steel Ltd. have recently entered into a business venture with Godrej Agrovet Ltd.

Tata Agrico is a leading manufacturer of agricultural implements in the country with a product mix of Powrah, Kudali, Shovel,Crowbar, Hammer and Sickle.

According to the business venture agreed upon Tata Agrico's product will be available in 22 Godrej Agrovet outlets across the country with products like Powrah, Sickle etc for the farmer community.

The main objective of this business venture is to reach out to the farmer community with its wide variety of products in the rural interiors of the country. Farmers will now have the easy availability of genuine TATA Agrico products at reasonable price controlled by the Tata Steel.

Tata Agrico will educate the farmers on the quality and value of Tata Agrico products and would also be suggested for designing product for more user friendly.

With this agreement Tata Agrico would be reaching out to the target audience at larger number, while Godrej believes that this would help them in enriching their product.
