Prince Brijendra Singh of Chamba passes away
New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) Prince Brijendra Singh, son of erstwhile ruler of Chamba Estate in Himachal Pradesh, passed away at a hopsital here today following cardiac arrest.
Mr Singh, 55, died of cardiac arrest this morning at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he had been admitted on April 14 after he complained of chest pain, according to hospital sources.
He had been admitted to the Gastrology department.
His body would be flown to his native place in Chamba, at 1100 hrs tomorrow, where the last rites would be performed.
Second son of Raja Laxman Singh, the last ruler of Chamba riyasat (estate) in Himachal Pradesh. He was married to former Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Asha Kumari.
