Lucknow Zoo to give 'bearhug' to kids in May

Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) By embarking on an awareness drive aimed at sensitising the children here with protection of country's bear population, the Lucknow Zoo authorities have promised giving a memorable 'bearhug' to tiny tots in the first week of May.

Zoo Director Eva Sharma told UNI here today the unique awareness drive between May one and May six aimed at enlightening future citizens for protection of fast depleting bear population will comprise quiz contest and poster competition for school children.

A Bear Conservation Exhibition will also be organised during the same period, Ms Sharma added.
