Army sets up computer training centre in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 16 (UNI) As part of its continuous efforts under Operation Sadbhavana, the Army has dedicated a Computer Training Centre to the people of Shopian in south Kashmir.
The centre has been set up at a cost of Rs 6.5 lakh and was constructed under the aegis of 70 Infantry Brigade by 44 RR (Rajput).
A defence spokesman said the valuable contribution to Shopian by the Army will give a chance to the people to learn about information technology in the modern era.
The Army has carried out several such projects under Operation Sadbhavana in order to promote IT education among the locals, he added.
