Advani to campaign in Hosur and Thali for TN polls
Chennai, Apr 16 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch its campaign for the May eight assembly polls in Tamil Nadu on April 18 and former party President L K Advani would canvass votes on April 24.
BJP State General Secretrary Kumaravelu told reporters here that Mr Advani would campaign at Hosur and Thali in Dharmapuri District.
The party's state leaders and former ministers Pon Radhakrishnan and Su.Thirunavukkarasar and state unit President C P Radhakrishnan would begin their campaigning on April 18 from various parts of the state.
The top-level leaders would join the electioneering on April 24, with Mr Venkaiah Naidu starting it in Madurai,and Mr Bandaru Dattatreya and National Vice-president Mr L Ganesan in Chennai city.
While former Union Finance Minister Yashwanth Sinha will be seeking votes for the party in the Coimbatore region, Former union minister Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy will campaign in Nagercoil and Mr Shahnawaz Hussain in Tiruchi city.
During the second phase of electioneering, several other leaders, including Chief Ministers of BJP=-ruled States.
