2 teenage boys drown in Ganga

Ballia, Apr 15: Two teenaged boys taking a bath in the river Ganga were feared drowned at Sadar Kotwali area.

Police said Golu Pathak (14) and Rahul Gupta (15) of Nagwan village had gone at Shivrampur Ghat to take bath in the holy river.

However, they strayed in deep waters and drowned. Their bodies were yet to be fished out.

Golu is the son of Amar Ujala journalist Krishnakant Pathak.

Rahul is a resident of Patna and was here to appear for his secondary examinations.
