Silver, gold rates at new high

Mumbai, Apr 15: Prices of silver and gold today rose to a new peak in the opening session, traders at the bullion market said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 19,545, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,855, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,900.
