Seven killed, 12 injured as truck turns turtle

Surat, Apr 15 (UNI) Seven people were killed and 12 others wounded when a truck they were travelling in overturned in Mandvi area here today.

The truck, which was coming from Maharashtra, fell into a gutter, killing Dhondu Puda, Bansi Kishan Madi, Bhaji Sind Madi, Kishan Raju Sonavane, Gurnig Rameshsinh Sonavane, Bimarao More and Arjun Sival Mevire on the spot, Mandvi police said.

The injured have been admitted to Sanjivani hospital, police added.
