Respite from oppressive heat
Hyderabad, Apr 15 (UNI) People of Andhra Pradesh had some respite from swealtering heat as the maximum temperatures were normal across the state today.
Meterological Centre Director G Sudhakar Rao attributed the fall to upper criculation. The maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little over Telangana and Rayalaseema.
Mercury dipped to 37.2 Deg C in the state capital, while it was 37 Deg C in Visakhapatnam, 36.7 Deg C in Vijayawada and 36.6 Deg C in Tirupati.
Isolated rain/thundershowers were likely to occur over all the three regions of the state in the next two days.
Rain/thundershowers were likely in some parts of city and the maximum temperature was likely to be around 37 deg C.
