PocketSurfer for Mobile users

Chandigarh, Apr 15: Montreal based multinational group DataWind Corporation today launched here PocketSurfer, world's first dedicated wireless web-access device for cellular networks.

The ongoing MobilTek-2006 expo at CII also witnessed three more product launches by Novel Amson, JVC and LG Electronics.

The PocketSurfer presented by dataWind provides the world's fastest and most affordable access to internet through a cell phone.

The device will be available in India at a price of Rs 9999 by the end of this month. However, its introductory price at the MobilTek is Rs 8000.

The second day of MobilTek also saw launching of storage devices by Novel Interconnect Pvt Ltd. Novel is a well-known name in the field of mobile phone accessories. The company today demonstrated SIM card reader, Robot series USB 2.09 5-in-one Card Reader and the USB 2.0 all-in-one Card Reader.

The SIM card reader is an effective and economic way to handle information for regular mobile users. It also helps in managing telephone directory free of cost.

JVC presented its new range of video cameras, while the LG Electronics today introduced a new mobile phone with a unique feature of storing digital data through an inbuilt pen drive.
