Nitish tells officers to 'win hearts'

Bhagalpur, Apr15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today called upon officers of the state to 'win over hearts and faith' of the common man through sincere work.

Addressing a review meeting here, Mr Kumar directed the officials to work hard to ensure the completion of different developmental projects within the stipulated time frame. He said that benefits of the development work must reach the lowest strata of the society.

''Special efforts are being made to mobilise the internal resources of the state government at the optimum level,'' he added.

The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of different ongoing projects in ten districts of Bhagalpur and Munger division.

Urban Development minister Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, Excise Minister Sudha Srivastav, State chief secretary G S Kang, Home secretary Hemchand Sirohi and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
