Chennai, Apr 15 (UNI) AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, whose party is contesting 54 seats in Kerala, has skipped her proposed visit to the neighbouring state for campaign.

She was scheduled to address a public meeting at Chithoor in Kerala on April 20.

However, according to the revised schedule, she would take a day's rest at Pollachi on that day and proceed to Coimbatore on April 21.

Ms Jayalalithaa recently said AIADMK was contesting considerable number of seats in Kerala as she received information through various sources that the party had a good following in that state.

In her campaign speeches, the AIADMK supremo promised concrete steps to enforce the Supreme Court order on raising the level of Mullaperiyar dam, a contentious issue between Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
