Jaya files nomination in Andipatti

Theni, Tamil Nadu, Apr 15 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, who is seeking re-election from Andipatti constituency in the May eight Assembly polls, today filed her nominations at the District Collectorate here.

She presented her papers before District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Officer S Suryananarayanan.

Ms Jayalalithaa, draped in her favourite green, arrived a little before noon and completed the process of filing nomination in the 'auspicious time.' She was accompanied by her close confidante Sasikala, who was also wearing green.

AIADMK fuctionaries lined up at the Collectorate in large numbers to welcome the party General Secretary.
