Injury-time Cannavaro header gives Juve vital point
MILAN, April 15 (Reuters) A Fabio Cannavaro header in the fifth minute of injury time gave Juventus a 1-1 Serie A draw at Cagliari, leaving them five points clear of AC Milan with four games remaining.
Second-placed Milan beat city rivals Inter 1-0 in yesterday's derby and have closed the gap on Juve who had enjoyed a 10-point advantage less than a month ago.
A penalty from Cagliari's Honduran striker David Suazo a minute before the break gave the Sardinian side the lead and Juve striker Alessandro Del Piero had a penalty saved by Cagliari's ex-Juve keeper Antonio Chimenti.
With the final act of the game Cannavaro rose to head home a corner from Mauro Camoranesi to earn a potentially vital point for Fabio Capello's side.
Fiorentina regained control of fourth position after a 3-1 win at relegated Treviso allowed them to move above AS Roma who gave up a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 at Palermo.
Two goals from Brazilian Mancini had put Roma 3-0 up at the break before Palermo fought back with a double strike from Simone Barone.
