Five infiltrators surrender in Kashmir at Uri
Srinagar, Apr 15 (UNI) Five militants today surrendered alongwith arms and ammunition before security forces immediately after sneaking into Indian side from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) at Uri.
A group of militants entered this side from PoK early this morning at Uri, an official spokes man said.
The militants, belonging to Hizb-e-Islami had crossed over to PoK arms training last year, the spokesman added.
The militants also handed over two AK rifles, two magzines, 50 rounds of ammunition, four pistols with magazines and ten rounds, he said.
About 20 militants have so far surrendered alongwith arms and ammunition in Uri sector and at Kaman post since the October 8 killer quake rocked the PoK last year.
Two families also returned back to valley from the PoK after remaning their for about two years.
