BJP workers to stage relay fast in support of Modi

Ahmedabad, Apr 15 (UNI) The Gujart BJP leadership has directed district units to go on a relay fast along with Chief Minister Narendra Modi who is launching a 51-hour fast from 1400 HRS here tomorrow.

While BJP volunteers from Ahmedabad City and Ahmedabad Rural will sit on relay fast on all the three days, contingents from other district units will be spread out on three days, BJP spokesman Parshottam Rupala told newspersons here today.

BJP workers will stage relay fast at the same Gujarat University Ground where Mr Modi is also scheduled to observe fast.

On Sunday, the relay fast will be from 1200 to 2000 HRS, on Monday from 0800 to 2000 HRS and on Tuesday from 0800 to 1800 HRS.
