Advani's yatra will fuel communal disharmony: CPM
Hyderabad, Apr 15: Even as Former Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani, who cancelled the Karnataka leg of his ''Bharat Suraksha Yatra'' following Kanada Matinee idol Rajkumar's death, resumed it from Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh today, the CPI(M) said the Yatra would result in more communal strife and terrorist strikes in the country.
CPI(M) Politburo member and State Secretary B V Raghavulu, who completed a cycle yatra from April two to 14 against atrocities on Dalits, told reporters here that the BJP's yatra was of no benefit to the nation. It was undertaken by Mr Advani only to improve his position within the party and regain political space for the party by dividing the people on communal lines, he alleged.
