37 Maoists arrested in Jehanabad jail break case
Jehanabad, Apr 15 (UNI) Altogether 37 Maoists, allegedly involved in engineering the infamous operation jail break in Jehanabad on November 13, 2005 have been arrested in a special drive launched by the police.
District Police Superintendent B S Meena said today that among those who had been arrested, included a dozen area commanders and more than a dozen hard core actvists of the proscribed CPI(Maoist).
''The list of the Maoists wanted in connection with the jail break incident makes it abundantly clear that apart from local activists, a large number of comrades from surrounding states had participated in the operation jail break'', Mr Meena added.
