sumsung to strengten digital product portfolio

Pune, April 14 (UNI) Global technology leader, Samsung India, today announced plans to strengthen its digital products portfolio comprising digital still cameras, digital camcorders and MP3 players in the Indian market.

Samsung India Deputy Managing Director R Zutshi, in a press note said, product innovation, technology leadership and design continue to be the thrust area for Samsung. The new range of digital products being launched today exemplify Samsung's commitment to introducing breakthrough technology products in the Indian market.

The YP-D1 launched by Samsung is the world's first MP3 player with camera, the Pro815 digital still camera is the world's longest built-in 15X Zoom, 8 mega pixel high specification digital camera.

The company also announced the launch of its first DVD camcorder model, VP-DC 163i in the Indian market, the release said.
