PM condemns blasts, calls on people to remain calm

New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today condemned the blasts in the historic Jama Masjid in the national capital and Srinagar.

Dr Singh called on the people to remain calm, an official spokesman said.

At least five people were killed and 20 injured in serial blasts across the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon, while six people were injured, one of them seriously, in the twin blasts at the Jama Masjid in the evening.
