PCP plea for shelters to old people

Tirupati, Apr 14: The Praja Congress Party (PCP) today urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy to establish shelters for destitute old people at various places in the state to prevent them from suffering sunstroke.

In a press release, PCP Founder President Narra Munichandra said this was essential was the state was in the grip of heatwave conditions.

He also appealed for provision of water and food for the old people.
