Pali, Apr 14 (UNI) Curfew imposed in violence-hit parts on April 11, has been relaxed today till 1000 hrs as the town limped back to normalcy.

The police are still patrolling parts of the town. The curfew in the Kotwali thana area has been relaxed from 06oo hrs in the morning till 1000 hrs in the night.

Curfew was imposed after the situation worsened in a communal flare up between two communities during the Mahaveer Jayanti procession on Tuesday, police added. There were incidents of stone pelting as a squabble erupted over flags fixed on the way.

The Muslim community was supposed to be taking out a Barra wafat procession on the same day through the area.
