Muslims leaders urge PM to solve Kashmir issue
New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Two influential Muslim organisations have urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to find an early solution to the Kashmir issue taking advantage of the present peace process between India and Pakistan.
In separate letters, Syed Sarwar Chisti, Secretary of the Khwaja shrine in Ajmer, and Maulana Mohammed Haroon of the All India Tanzeem Aimma E-Masjid, urged the Prime Minister to take advantage of the Kashmiri leaders' willngness to take immediate and positive steps in solving the issue.
Maulana Mohammed Haroon appealed to Indian and Pakistani governments to solve the Kashmir issue expeditiously keeping in mind the wishes and sentiments of the Kashmiri people.
