Hoteleering firm Leelaventures to add 1500 rooms
New Delhi, Apr 14: Hoteliering firm, Leelaventures, will be opening its new palaces in Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune by 2009 adding 1500 rooms.
Leelaventures would become a 2700-plus room hotel firm in the next three years, according to company President Peter Leitgeb.
Leelaventures has signed a management agreement for an 'under construction' deluxe hotel near New Delhi which will have 319 rooms in addition to 90 serviced residences, to be operational next year.
Within two months, The Leela Palace Udaipur, will open with 77 rooms on the banks of Lake Pichola, Mr Leitgeb was quoted in an industry magazine, India Now..
Leelaventures, is the chain of hotels with the highest average room rates and the highest gross operating profit margins.
It has four properties, two each in Mumbai and Bangalore, and in the popular tourist destinations of Goa and Kovalam.
