IMT to open campus in UAE

Dubai, Apr 14 (UNI) The Ghaziabad-based Institute of Management Technology (IMT) has announced the launch of its Dubai Campus at the Dubai Knowledge Village.

The institution will start classes from September and initailly offer full-time MBA of two years, executive MBA with a duration of one year and part-time executive MBA of 18 months, Mr B S Sahay, Director of IMT, was quoted as saying by ''Khaleej Times''.

The announcement was made at the the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The institute established in 1980 with the vision of nurturing and developing managerial talent is ranked among the top ten business schools in India.

The Dubai campus will be its third campus and first overseas campus, Mr Sahay added.

The admission will be based on GMAT/CAT scores or a test conducted by the institute and a group discussion, interview and academic records, he said.

'' We are delighted to set up our campus in Dubai Knowledge Village and particularly pleased to set up our campus in Dubai, one of the world's fastest-growing cities,'' said Mr Sahay said.

''Our vision is to bring world class management education, training and consulting within easy reach of management professionals seeking global careers. The establishment of the Dubai campus is part of our mission to position IMT on the global business map and to become one of the top business schools in the world,'' he added.
