Panaji, Apr 14 (UNI) The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has refunded Rs 2,05,000 in all to 85 ticket-holders who could not enter the Nehru Stadium in Margou to watch the ODI match between India and England on April 3.

GCA Secretary Chetan Desai said it is for the first time in the country that a State Cricket Association has refunded money to the ticket-holders who could not enter the venue even after the match got over.'' We will give all the 85 ticket-holders a complimentary pass of the next ODI, which the GCA will host,'' Desai said.

On April 7, the GCA had announced that it would reimburse the ticket money of those who could not enter the stadium despite a valid ticket to watch the match.

Most of the refunded tickets were of Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 denominations respectively.
