Congress to stage dharna
Ranchi, Apr 14 (UNI) The Congress will stage a day-long dharna here tomorrow to protest shortage of drinking and electricity problem.
''The state has been reeling under acute power crisis and scarcity of drinking water since a long time. But no action had been taken to solve these problems,'' the party members alleged.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) General Secretary Anadi Bramh, in a letter to Chief Minister Arjun Munda, has requested him not to split the state electricity board into four companies.
He said it would not help the consumers. The division of the board would increase corruption instead.
The government should not overlook the rights of board employees and let them participate in decision making process of the board, he said.
