Cong, PMK ink poll pact in Pondy

Pondicherry, Apr 14 (UNI) The Congress today allocated Ariyankuppam and Mannadipet seats to the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) for the Assembly elections in Pondicherry.

The agreement was signed by Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary A Gandhiraj and PMK Parliamentary Party Leader M Ramadass here.

The Congress also promised to nominate a member of the PMK to the Assembly if it was voted to power.
