CM, DCM condemn blasts in Srinagar and Jama Masjid

Jammu, Apr 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Deputy Chief Minister Muzzafar Hussain Baig, JKPCC president and Minister for Haj and Auqaf, Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed and many ministers have strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Srinagar and the Jama Masjid in Delhi.

Condemning the incidents, the Chief Minister said the Srinagar blasts were attacks against people's prosperity, humanity and religious sentiments. Such acts would only disturb the tourist season in the valley as the tourism sector is the mainstay of economy of the state particularly for the valley, he added.

Mr Azad said, ''When people of Kashmir have decided to strengthen the peace process, when every body has realized futility of gun culture, when humanity is against terror, when those who were perpetrators of violence have succumbed before might of non-violence, when era of development and reconstruction to revive the glory of paradise on earth like Kashmir has been initiated, when both central and state governments are serious to solve all complex problems on table, it is really strange and astonishing that an isolated group of terrorists have chosen to terrorise innocent people by restoring to series of grenade attacks in Srinagar today".
